Premiering on Thursday, September 21 at 10, NBC’s “Prime Suspect,” a remake of the UK series starring Helen Mirren, stars film actress Maria Bello as a tough-as-nails New York detective. She has a live-in boyfriend with an ex and has to deal with sexism from her male coworkers (although it will be more subtle than its British counterpart). Check out a trailer here:

Abrams, “Person of Interest” stars Jim Caviezel as an ex-CIA agent who teams up with a billionaire (“Lost” star Michael Emerson), with the help of a mysterious machine that can predict crimes. In honor of the key art being released yesterday, here’s a trailer for “Person of Interest,” premiering on Thursday, September 22 at 9pm:

Whitney Cummings stars in the new NBC comedy series “Whitney, about a group of young couple in a long-term relationship, with no plans for marriage anytime soon. The show has been given the high-profile time slot after “The Office” on Thursdays, which means NBC has high hopes. ABC is rebooting the ’70s classic “Charlie’s Angels.” This time the Angels include Minka Kelly (“Friday Night Light”), Rachael Taylor (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Annie Ilonzeh (“General Hospital”) and a much younger Bosley (Ramon Rodriguez).
