Wedding Jitters: The creators of the recently cancelled “Detroit 1-8-7” are now working on a new project about a woman on her wedding day wondering if she should get married or not and follows her on both paths.  [Deadline]

Puppet Pals: Production company Bunim/Murray is developing a satirical take on history using puppets and shopping it to networks like VH1 and History. [The Hollywood Reporter]

Going Viral: Comedy Central is producing a pilot centered around the Gregory brothers, best known for their “Auto-tune the News” videos. [The Futon Critic]

Ranger Danger: The animated pilot “Brickleberry,” produced by Daniel Tosh (“Tosh.0”), has been picked up for 10 episodes to air in 2012 on Comedy Central. The series follows forest rangers facing a park shutdown. [Critics Choice]

Critics agree that Zooey Deschanel is “adorable,” Damon Wayans (“Happy Endings”) will stay in the “New Girl” pilot, and more revelations from the show’s session. [eOnline]

Simon Cowell laughs off rumors that Cheryl Cole’s departure was a result of friction with Paula Abdul: “Look, if it was a question of not getting along with Paula then I wouldn’t have been on the show.” [Zap2It]
